Is Vannes, France a nice place to go on Holiday?

Ive booked a holiday to Vannes, France ages ago and im going next week. Im looking at the BBC weather for Vannes, however, and it doesnt seem to be that hot. I didnt want 33 degree stuff but in the high twenties was wanted. Im getting a little dissapointed. Is it a nice town to back up the not-that-hot-for-a-holiday weather? Or anything to make me feel better?

Hello, I leave near Vannes. the weather should be quite good on the next week. Today, the weather was verry sunny and hot. But don't expect too much the 33 degres...

It is however a good place for the holidays. There are many things to visit and make around. And if the weather is good, I advice you to go around the "golfe du morbihan" by boat, and visit the "île aux moines" for instance.
