Is Venus a good name for a girl?

Iv only heard that name like about 2 times and I would like to know your opinion whether you think this a good girl name

Yes I think it is an excellent name for a girl. Venus was the Roman Goddess of Love. The people who don't think its a good name don't appreciate Roman culture.

Sorry, I don't like it. It's a bit fancy and airy fairy and is obviously a planet. I don't think the person would be taken seriously with that name and I don't like 'made up' names like Apple. If you're going to do that why not Leaf or Plant. But just an opinion!

Well, it could be a nice name, but also might be somewhat of a burden. Just to let you know - one of the meanings of Venus is "an exceptionally beautiful woman" - sounds lovely to me, but it might make the girl feel pressured to live up to that meaning of the name.

Venus always reminds me of pink, and girl stuff plus it's no where being over-used.

No name is bad. Venus is good name, its really unique, and rarely heard.

Its the planet that is 2nd closest to the Earth, but it represents love, romance, beauty, culture, the aesthetic, affection, one's social appeal and acceptability, good taste, harmony and values.
