Is Verizon Wireless buying Alltel or Qwest?

My friend said they were buying qwest

then i heard on the news that they are buying alltel

I need to know because I dont know who I should go to.

Also when are they going to buy them?

I wish Verizon would buy some company that would show them how to satisfy their customers.......I get rotten service with my cell phone.  Yesterday I went down the freeway about 70 miles and lost service and was unable to contact the people waiting for me to rescue them.  We finally hooked up and headed back north and it wasn't until thirty miles later service returned..........for all the money I spend on phone service I could just as well get two tin cans and a long string.............bahhhhhhhh
