Mark Sinclair Vincent, "Vin Diesel" (born July 18, 1967) is bi-racial. His father is Black and his mother Italian-American. His fraternal twin brother Paul Vincent also works in the entertainment industry as a film editor.

His mother is an astrologer/psychologist and he never knew his biological father. His big break came when Steven Speilberg cast him as a soldier in the film "Saving Private Ryan" alongside Tom Hanks in 1998.
