Is Vitamin A Palmitate vegan?

My book says that it palmitate come from animals or plants, but I want to know if this does.

It is true that it can come from animals and plants. If you have any products with vitamin A palmitate, I would suggest contacting the company to ask if they get theirs from animal or plant sources. Most companies are very helpful and will answer your question quickly. Also look out for Vitamin D, Vitamin D3, and vitamin B12, they might come from animal sources too
