Is Wal-mart a good opition when it comes down to decent works?

I work for Wal*Mart, and they pay is decent.  Like the person in the first answer said; Wal*Mart associates really have to deal with a lot.  Managment gets strict with us, and it can be a high-stressed place to work.  I can say; I've been there since this january, and I've gained a lot of job experience already.  I've pushed-carts, unloaded trucks full of merchandise, to working a cash register, to working in the pet department as a sales associate.  I was job searching for 2 years and no one would even give me a chance.  Wal*Mart is the only retailer that treated me with respect as I applied at.

you mean for employment?...well starting pay is less then some stores, i have a friend that works at home depot that says he started off with more...but all in all i think despite the bad publicity walmart receives (im not saying they dont deserve some of it) theyve been okay with me,we do work hard and dont get the respect from some of the customers we deserve...but i dont let them get to me.yeah its been pretty good.
