Is War & Peace easy to get into?

No. Books translated from Russian are harder to read than those translated from say French. Because the language is so different, it's hard for the book to flow as smoothly as it probably does in Russian.

I love War and Peace, in translation. It's one of my favorite books. I never had any trouble at all getting into it, and I first read it when I was sixteen. The only thing you can do is try it for yourself. I just wanted to let you know that there are two sides to the story and not everyone agrees with your previous answers
