  1. i've heard of this stuff back in 73-75 during first oil crisis and then enviromentalist come in and tell us..no more reserve, no more drilling, ect.

so we're here because of them? or become politician didn't plan for the future.

    so beyond that.to this quesiton.

i don't think so..it a fine mist of water, is all i know.

  2. No it is not a SCAM. It works. Dont buy any kits off of the net just do a little research and build it yourself. I have made kits  for all of my vehicles, it costs me about $30 in parts and i do the rest. Just try it and see.

  3. Yes they are a scam. I am 77 and heard this all my life ,but have never saw one work...

  4. No, look up hho welder on youtube, you will see how much of a reality it is. If its capable of doing that, think of the benefits as a fuel to vehicles.

  5. Hydrogen can be used as a fuel for automobiles but the units you see mostly being sold on the Internet are not able to generate enough hydrogen to do you any good.

If you think you are getting better gas mileage, better look again. I built several generators and much larger than the ones being sold that incorporate canning jars and in reality, you are drawing air in through the vent which bubbles up through the jar which enters your intake therefore leaning out your air-fuel mixture if it's connected to the intake manifold.

You only think you are getting better fuel mileage because you seem to go further on a gallon of gas but your air-fuel mixture isn't anywhere near 15:1 ratio.

I tested a generator and got 40 mpg up from 34 mpg. I turned the generator off only allowing air to flow through the unit and got,,,you guessed it, 40 mpg. That was due to sucking more air into the engine manifold via the hydrogen generator vent tube.

The small generators do not work as they say they do. In short, they are a scam. They need to output more volume which they do not.

One horse power is 746 watts and most of these units draw 12 to 36 watts of power. 746/36 = 20.72. 1 horse / 20.72 = .048 horse power. If the hydrogen gas is only three times the potency of gasoline you are getting a whopping .144 horse power boost.

It would require a minimum of power rate of 248.6 watts to produce 1 horse power if the hydrogen gas is 3 times the potency of gasoline. If you don't mind the 20 amp load on your charging system then that would be alright. It still wouldn't be enough.

I'm not trying to insult anyone but these things do not produce enough gas to enhance the run time of a lawn mower let alone give better gas mileage to any vehicle.

I would love to take a look at any engine that has had one of these devices installed and used for any lenght of time. I would be willing to bet, your engine shows signs of wear due to heat. Look at your spark plugs, are they grey or tan? Reading the plugs can tell a lot.

  6. let me start off by saying Hydrogen is a great option for the concept of free energy.     I built my first hydrogen cell about 5 years ago. Have converted over 50 vehicles in the last 10 years (gydrogen and EV) and now currently run 2 trucks (and another EV), my home hot water heater, home stove and home generator on hydrogen for free with caught rain water and the help of a $10 solar panel.  I offer a step by step DIY guide to walk anyone interested threw the process. You can find it at www agua-luna com or you can email me.

There are basically 3 safe ways to make and use it... chemically, electrically and molecularly, the first 2 being easier so I'll only discuss them here. The fallowing steps were taking directly out of a DIY guide I offer to those who would like to run their vehicles or home on hydrogen safely. The entire guide is available at www agua-luna com

On demand h2 generators are a bit different from the Hollywood versions like seen Chain Reaction with Keanu Reeves, that tend to explode violently every time a film is being made. However when used in an on-demand system there is no storage of hydrogen and oxygen in its gas form, only liquid (water) and is only transformed into gas “on-demand” in small cylinder size amounts. It’s actually safer then gasoline as it doesn’t evaporate, creating explosive fumes in the tank like gas. the following were actually taken out of my $5 guide available at www agua-luna com

        Chemically

        1. You’ll need a 6inch x 1ft schedule 40 pvc pipe. With pvc cement glue a cap on the bottom and use a s***w on cap for the top. Drill a small hole (1/4inch or so) in the side close to the top, s******g in a small copper shut off valve. Place a few feet of stranded (food grade is good) flex hose to the valve and into the air intake of your engine (carburetor or fuel injections).

        2. Now crunch up a couple aluminum cans (beer cans, soda cans etc) and drop them into the pvc pipe, along with a couple cups of lye (Red Devil drain opener has lye in it, some Clorox and Drano’s do to).

        3. Then simply add water, s***w on the top and wait a few minutes.

What happens in simplicity is that aluminum and lye don’t really get along so they battle, and as always the innocent civilians (water H2O) that the most casualties, by giving up its hydrogen and oxygen. This then builds up in the void of the pipe and is ready to be vented into your engine, by opening the valve. You may need to start your engine on gas then switch it off after the hydrogen starts burning.

Electrical is a bit easier then Chemically.

        1. Simply take a small solar panel 1.5 amps is what I use ($9 at harborfreight.com), connect the 2 wires from the panel +- to 2 conductors (carbon cores of batteries work well, just be careful removing it from the jacket), but any conductive material will work ie. Copper, aluminum, steel, etc.

        2. Drop the wires into a water tank (I use 55gal drums), make sure they don’t touch each other.

        3. Drill a small hole (1/4inch or so) in the side close to the top, s******g in a small copper shut off valve. Place a few feet of stranded (food grade is good) flex hose to the valve and into the air intake of your engine (carburetor or fuel injections).

        4. Then simply add water, s***w on the top cap and wait.

After a few hours tiny bubbles will form and rise off one conductor (that’s hydrogen) and even smaller bubbles that just looks like foam will rise off the other (oxygen). I don’t remember which likes the positive and which likes the neg hydrogen or the oxygen.

The third method is more complicated and is what I use for my vehicles. It’s just a modified Joe’s Cell, there’s a step by step DIY guide available to walk you threw the process here www agua-luna com

It also covers the other 2 methods described in more detail.

    www agua-luna com

Hope this helped, feel free to contact me personally if you have any questions if you’d like assistance in making your first self sufficient steps, I’m willing to walk you step by step threw the process. I’ve written several how-to DIY guides available at  www agua-luna com on the subject. I also offer online and on-site workshops, seminars and internships to help others help the environment.

  7. Water fuel technology conversion kits not a scam. I know this because I built a conversion kit myself about 6 months ago and it was the best thing that i did. The kit was a lot easier to build than I thought, I had it build within a weekend and am saving around $220/ month on fuel.

So to answer your question no they are not a scam.

  8. hydrogen is a good, clean fuel, producing only water as a by-product. Unfortunately it produces so much energy that it can get out of control, resulting in an explosion. But let's forget about that explosive part for a minute and think about the possibilities - Hydrogen as a New Clean Fuel - it could be the end of the energy crisis - but where would we get the hydrogen?

Can we create Hydrogen from Water?

Oh Yes! It's the same chemical reaction, but run in reverse:

    2H2O + ENERGY = 2H2 + O2

Notice now that the requirement is for energy to be ADDED TO the reactants. This is an example of an Endothermic reaction. This means that we could use Water as a Fuel! IF (and this is a big if) we could find an easy way to convert the water to hydrogen and oxygen, then the hydrogen could be used as a clean fuel.

One way to convert Water to Hydrogen and Oxygen is through the process of Electrolysis - using electricity from your vehicles battery is the source of energy needed to drive the reaction.

  9. Actual road test show an average improvement of 2 1/2 mpg. using a Water Fuel kit.

  10. They are all scams, you should really avoid them.

Pretty much everything to improve your cars fuel economy that doesn't involve buying a new car or changing your driving style is a scam (most people who review them don't test them properly anyway).

  11. Yes, they are a scam.  Anyone who claims they're getting better mileage from these kits is either lying or they're getting better mileage for another reason (like changing driving habits).  It could very well be that people hook up these kits and they want to see better mileage so they start subconsciously driving more slowly and doing things like that.

Sorry, but you can't violate the laws of physics.  See the link below for an explanation of why they can't work.

  12. I’m also wondering why those people who bashing HHO never build one then say “Sorry I don’t get any mpg improvement”, but instead saying it’s against the Laws of Thermodynamics. They are not trying to help us. I think we all know their agenda…..

My friend installed one last month from http://www.waterfuel101.com/ on SUV and he’s loves it. About 18% increase.

Where is your freaking law, smart “professors” – guy saved 18% of his budget last month!!!

I want to install on my car, but I need to learn a bit more about MAP/O2 censors, since I have a late model. Good luck.

  13. No, they are not scams at all. People are really going crazy for this technology, and with gas prices soaring over $4/gallon, it's no wonder! They are predicting gas prices to go up to $7 - $10 a gallon by next spring! OUCH!

If you can convert your own car to save 50% or so off your fuel costs, how incredible! How long would it take you to pay off whatever tiny amount it takes to have the conversion kit put in? Heck, some people are hiring themselves out to put them in for you for those of us who are not mechanically inclined.
