Go Wayne.  It wasn't his fault!!!!  They didn't know he was just about the best AFL footballer of all time.  And was it his fault that the media worshipped him in his heroic footballing days and that he was treated like a demi-God all his sporting life and got to the stage where he felt he could do no wrong.  Plus the poor guy lost good friends with that Captains wife incident and a man needs his friends.  Re this assault on the Cops, well it wouldn't be reported the other way around would it.  I am genuinely sorry for poor Wayne even though I can see his problems seem self-inflicted.  His image was protected by all and sundry and now he can't handle the notoriety.

Also he could be a Narcissist and if he is then maybe it is not his fault if he can't see beyond his untouchable self???

wayne carey is an idiot FULL STOP .. placing aside the fact that he assaulted to US policemen ( all I can say Is that he's bloody lucky they didn't plug him full of lead).. but he is also known for assaulting women .. s******g his best-mate's wife ( in a dunny no less) and cheating on his pregnant wife...

I think he is a total idiot.  I am very worried about our so called sport idols.  What sort of message is Wayne Carey giving to young players?  If people who are in the spotlight can't control their anger they should feel the full extent of the law  and be made an example of to show our younger generation that, that behaviour is not tolerated.
