  1. Hello,

Great post.  The most important part of business is advertising.  This makes or breaks a business.  Some of the best ways to advertise I've found are:

    1.  Offline promoting (business cards, flyers, newspaper and other print advertising).

    2.  Online promoting (buying banner ads, forum posts, email auto replies).

The best method that's worked for me so far is handing out business cards.  I don't do this in the usual way.... I buy them in bulk from a place online (they give the cards for free, I just  paid shipping and handling...they also give a really nice free business card holder, it looks impressive).  They're really high quality.  I just put all of the info about my business on the cards, and I hand them out on cars at bus stations, malls, etc.  It's worked out really, really well for me, and it's completely inexpensive =)

    Good Luck with your business!

  2. Tracey,

Wealthy Affiliate is definitely not a scam.  I strongly disagree with the other answer.  The fact that you pay for something doesn't define it as a scam.

You pay for a college education.  Is that a scam?  Wealthy Affiliate is, in my opinion, one of the premier educational sites on the Internet providing educational material and software for internet marketers.

Specifically, Wealthy Affiliate offers comprehensive training on the area you inquired about - pay per click marketing.  PPC is, however, only one of many subjects relating to internet marketing covered on the Wealthy Affiliate site.

It is reasonable for you to ask, "what is the basis of my opinion that Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam?"  Here's the simple answer.  I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate since March, 2007.  I renew my membership every month and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.  Had I found that Wealthy Affiliate was a scam after I joined, I would have dropped my membership immediately.  I renew because the benefits I receive as a member far exceed the cost.

I honestly believe that if you are interested in learning to make money online, Wealthy Affiliate is an outstanding resource - definitely not a scam in any sense of the word.

If you are interested, I elaborate a bit more on my Wealthy Affiliate blog, http://www.wealthy-affiliate.net

    Hope this helps.

  3. Firstly, check out for http://seriousppccoaching.com for some more in depth info on this.

No, I don't think it is a scam but there does seem to be a few bad reviews of the site on some of the webmaster forums.

If I was you I would join PPC Coach instead. I joined a few months ago after I read some of the most respected affiliate marketing blogs (Nicky Cakes, Zac Johnson, Johnathon Volk) giving really excellent reviews. I don't like talking about how much I earn but I'm on target to earn more this month and next month then I did all of last year. It really is all due to the info and help that PPC Coach provided me with.

  4. Hi there, I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate and I love it.  Lee already told you that it is legitimate, and I will back him up...it is NOT a scam.  It is a great site and you have the potential to make a lot of money...BUT you need to actually work for it.  This is not a "get rich quick" type of thing.  But if you actually spend some time trying hard, then I'm sure you can succeed.

Wealthy Affiliate has lots of tutorials about different kinds of marketing and is geared toward beginners, so you don't need any experience.  I personally don't do PPC and only use free marketing techniques, but there is a lot of great info on PPC if that's what you want to do.

Again, you won't get rich overnight, but you can make money fairly quickly if you try hard.  I made about $150 my first month, so that was more than enough to keep my subscription there.  I've made even more money there since then and I highly recommend this site.

You can go to http://wealthyaffiliatereviewed.weebly.c... for more information if you want.  I made that site and everything on it is true (including my personal information).  Feel free to contact me through the site if you have any more questions.  I'm sure you'll love it.  Good luck!

  5. Do you have to pay? If yes, then it most likely is.

Learned that the hard way but learned it very quickly and never did it again.
