Is WebMD.com a reliable source?

I'm not sure because it says 'com' rather than 'org'. But, it says MD (medical doctor) which makes me think that it might be helped by real doctors. Is it reliable?

  1. I have found the Web-MD site to be accurate and very helpful.  Although, I do not use it as my final authority.  It is a good place to start.

  2. To tell if a web page is a good, reliable source you must look to see when......

    1) who sponsors it

    2) when was it last updated

    3) when was it copied writen; meaning year or date

This is what WebMD has on the bottom of their home page; which most information is posted, so this is a good source
