We hear how awful food from fast food places is. But I looked into Wendy's chili, which didn't seem so bad to look at it. According to the Wendy's website, a large chili, 340 g, has:
280 kcal, of which 80 are from fat
7 g of fiber, 21 g of protein
15% of the USRDA of iron. (I'm anemic)
It has 1240 mg of sodium, which I'm not sure if it is a lot, but my blood pressure is OK.
Is it a good thing to eat? I find it pretty filling. Or am I fooling myself?
(I often get a mandarin oranges cup with it, which is mandarin oranges section that I'm sure they just scooped out of a can they open.)
