Most businesses close on public holidays such as New Year's Day, Good Friday etc.   The Whitechapel is one of the most interesting and challenging business for which a specific gallery was built, a lovely secluded hilltop location and much famous. Some markets of it are open. All markets will resume normal operations on the 2nd day.
