Yes it is! i just saw it with my family and they all loved it! It is such a good story line. The songs are catchy, and it give u a totally different view on the wizard of oz.

I have to agree with Sarah. There is nothing about the play that might be offensive to a child. More it's likely most YOUNG children won't GET IT.

Obviously too, many here seem to love it. I suggest "GOOD" is relative and subjective.

I would say so yes, as long as the younger children are of an age where they can sit through a long-ish show without getting too restless and noisy. There's nothing too scary or adult in it, the only thing maybe that I think I wouldn't have liked if I were a young child, is the Oz Head, but apart from that it's family orientated - moreso than a lot of other musicals. The only thing is, like a couple of people have already mentioned, is that some of the plot might be a little difficult for younger children to grasp - but the songs, costumes and effects are wonderful in themselves and the fact that it's very magical and spectacular will probably entertain them completely anyway.

Definitely! Wicked is recommended for ages 8 and up because some parts are loud, scary, or just plain long for little kids. Also, no one under the age of four is allowed inside the theatre.

Everyone in my family who has seen Wicked (my parents, the younger of my two little brothers and I) loved the show. My sister is almost 4, but she knows most of the show from me and its really quite adorable when she goes around singing Popular. My other brother is going to be dragged to see Wicked with my friends and I on my birthday, because last year we dragged my younger little brother.

Oh yes! I've seen it twice and It is an amazing musical and very family friendly! Just get your tickets EARLY! We had to reserve them a little over 6 months in advance.

i dont kno because it has some inapropriate parts in it if u wer like 6 or 7 but if u r like 12 or under it is a really good musical
