Is World Challenge Expeditions a good program and opportunity for students??

I am a high school student, and my school is having a meeting today for those who want to go on a World Challenge Expeditions trip. we are going to a country in africa. it seems like a really exciting and good opportunity. it seems pretty safe too. is this is a good opportunity for a high school student? would it look good on college applications too? thanks!
