I was talking to my cousin and she said her friend went to an X-factor audition and she didn't get to see Louie, Simon, Sharon and Danni at all and didn't get through. Then I applied for it this year and I got a letter saying that I could only bring 1 adult (in the end I couldn't go) but on the TV auditions it show people having their whole family outside the door. What is going on?

  1. Rubbish.

  2. they do auditions before the show auditions. it was the same for the show where they was trying to find the danny and sandy for Grease because my friend auditioned for it but unfortunately didnt get through to meet the real judges. they start judging for the next years x-factor pretty much at the start of the next year.

  3. some people turn up to the large open auditions.

and register when they arrive.  So there families are with them.

  4. It's all fixed.

  5. There are auditions you have to do before the TV ones. These are judged by researchers etc. and they choose the best of the best and the worst of the worst (for entertainment). So those people you see on TV have already been through auditions already just to get there.

  6. It's a load of c**p that's what's going on. You don't get to see Sharon, Simon etc. in the early auditions either. It's c**p. I know.

  7. You go before a panel of show judges and they decide if you are good enough (or entertaining enough) to have a shot in front of the celebrity judges. I don't think even half the auditionee's get to see Simon,Louis etc.

  8. that's just life and that's how fare it goes. sorry dude but that's it!!

  9. It's stupid because my friend has a really good voice and she didnt even get through to meet the judges but you see people on there that can't sing a note in tune.  But i suppose its still entertaining.

  10. You first have to sing for the producers, then only the really good ones and the really c**p/funny ones (ie the ones who make good telly) get to sing for the judges. That is why so many get upset from a no in the 'first' audition, because really it is the second or third stage.

  11. There are auditions before the telly ones?

  12. can you really imagine simon and crew sitting through all the auditions themselves- there are thousands and thousands and thousands of people who turn up - they only put through the good ones to simon and co. or the ones that would make good tv (i'e the ones we will laugh at like the 2 blokes on saturday ant and someone i think)

my friend went a couple of years ago and sung one line of a song and they told her to stop - she was nervous but has a amazing voice so was surprised when she said they never put her though to see simon

strange that you was only allowed to invite one per though - i suppose if you are asked to meet simon etc then you would have been asked to come back with family etc to meet the judges???

it seemed very acted to me this year, more so than previous years!!!
