Is XM international?

I want to send the gift of XM to an island in the Pacific Ocean...where I'm from...the music there is so limited...or is it only for here in North America

XM and Sirius currently only cover Continental North American and parts of the Carribean. Both services offer an on-line option, and that is international. I have heard of folks jury-rigging a Direct TV-type satellite dish with an XM home antenna and placing the whole contraption on a pole attached to the roof of a building.

Nope. Just US and Canada.
