He has a better arm then Damon but less speed but he has a good arm but faster then matsui. What will happen at the end of the season? Will they resign him?

  1. No, theyll easil be able to keep him for the upcoming years, this is a guy who wanted to sign a long term contract with the pirates so it shouldn't be too hard or expensive.

  2. They'll probably hang on to him, he'd be a valuable bench player, especially since Damon and Matsui are injury prone.

  3. I hope the Yanks resign him. See, I know him personally, and even though he isn't in Pittsburgh, I still cheer him on. It's great that he's playing for the Yankees, that's every kids dream.

To add to Dave Chapelle 4 Prez's comment, Nady is injury prone too, so It'll be interesting!

  4. They should wait and see if he produces for them.  Many players who were good on other teams didn't do as well when they put on the pinstripes.  EX.--  Jack Clark, Ed Whitson, Damon, Randy Johnson, and more.

  5. The Yankees hold the rights to him until 2009. He will go through arbitration next year unless they agree on a deal probably around the 5 to 6 million range. I think Abreu will be the odd man out. Matsui in left, Cabrera in center, Nady in right, Damon at DH. Abreu will be 35 next year, nice having you Bobby but time to move on.

  6. maybe nady should be considered not a "rental" but more a "rent to own" player. Simply put, he does well, he will return. He stinks it up, he's gone. "nuff said.
