  1. Young MENS Christian Association. if it were meant foe women it would say YMAWCA and that would mess up the whole song so girls need to stay out!


  2. The short answer to your question is NO! All through high school and college I worked as a lifeguard at two different YMCA's. Let me assure you that there are some rather strange individuals residing at YMCA's and I can say with a fair degree of certainty that some of these YMCA residents had mental health issues, substance abuse problems and (I would guess) some past convictions or criminal records. Spend the extra money and stay in a hotel.

  6. you do now that YMCA stands for young mens christian assosiation so i doubt it. but if you want to stay somewere cheap go to a youth hostel
