Is Yahoo! Answers always this stupid?

Question

This is my first time in here, other than when I click on a question that is displayed on Y! Sports. I'm itchin' for some hockey talk. Imagine my dismay when I saw all these idiotic questions that have nothing to do with hockey. Is it always like this?

It's usually better than this.  It's just that the last upgrade has way too many problems that have still not been fixed.

Since they changed a few things on the site a week or so ago, yes it has been like this.

No, certainly not.

The season ended in June, and since then we have had nothing to talk about. For some strange reason, completely un-related question have began to end up here and not in their designated sections.

We actually do have a great time here, we just have to wait for October to roll around before this place picks up again.

Give us a shot- we're great people!

No...its usually pretty good. I just joined last week and loved it. But lately the same 3 or 4 people have decided to post some unnecesary questions for some reason.

NO the hockey section is usually pretty good. I love the section, but as of lately weird questions have been popping up. It will go away eventually and the section will be back to normal hopefully!

I know what you mean.  I took some time off and I come back to all this c**p.  I can't decide if this is worse than 2 girls one cup or not  but you have to read an awful lot to find good questions any more.  I think Moose may be right.  Better off to do something else until the season starts.

No it's just really really sucked recently since Yahoo made all these updates that have wrecked the hockey section and made spell check really hard to use.

No it use to be awesome here. Come back when hockey season starts and some of the regs are back and maybe they'll have the system fixed then.

Sadly...Yes!  This is the internet after all and the dearth of good conversation is limited at best.  You may get one or two good answers for every 100 bad/silly/racist/having nothing to do with the question answers.  Sorry.
