habit of attacking the truth if weakens their religious myths. Others say it is the liberals because they are practicing political correctness, which means you can't utter the truth if it will offend someone. So who is the worst offender of free speech and the suppressor of the truth at all costs on Yahoo Answers? The conservatives who fear any truth that they did not invent, or the liberals who get mad at truths that hurt their feelings

There are individual posters who seem to hit the truth on the head, however, my overall impression is that many posters seem to believe the BS that is spread by the mass media. Mass media repeats the same nonsense repeatedly until it becomes part of our unconscious belief system. Some of the brightest and most intelligent people I know repeat this nonsense in serious discussions.

The mass media repeats the mantra of "war on terror" when it is objectively an "invasion and occupation" of a soverign country. Media does not tread in areas that might offend their sponsors. You never hear much from the media about:

- 9/11 Truth Movement

- 500,000 children dying because of US led economic sanctions

- Use of depleted uranium in Iraq

- Corporate fraud and abuses

The script for media talks about "street crime" and "drug use" when in fact, more damage is being done by corporations. The conservative versus liberal thing is vyer active but it always remains within a well-defined range. The vigorous nature of the dialog gives us the impression that it is "fair and balanced" but in fact, it excludes most of the most important topics such as:

- Impeachment of George Bush (introduced last Monday)

- Was Pat Tillman murdered because he was against the occupation of Iraq?

- Enrichment of the wealthy at the expense of average Americans.

- The fact that some third party candidates would win if they were given a fair share of air time.

i think they are more liberal..... when Hillary and obama were running.... obama questions were often deleted, as were obama question answers...and severely offensive Hillary q&a's were left posted....... what is still nagging at the back of my mind is why obama is not a recognised spell check word ?????

Anything in which liberals do not have total 100% control of is considered conservative. Conservatives do not invent the truth. That's a liberal counter and stategy where alegations and a shiffing of the facts are in order. You must be a lib.
