Is Yahoo Instant Messenger's stealth setting suppose to work when you're mobile?

When I'm online I only want to be contacted by so many people. So when I'm mobile I don't want be contaced by those who hardly see me online when I am invisible. Before I know it thousands of boxes open & too many people IM me & expect me to chat back.
