Is Yahoo! Music a good music subscription?

I was thinking about getting Yahoo! Music Unlimited and I was wondering how good of a service it was.

I signed up for it a over a year ago from a trial subscription - automatic yearly renewal. I used it for a while then didn't anymore when I got my ipod and found I couldn't transfer the songs to an ipod. I hadn't used it for over 6 months and this past month got billed for another year -- the ol' automatic renewal - no reminder email, nothing, even though customer service said an email was sent to the address on file.

Just be wary about subscription based services and make sure you note it down somewhere before you pay for a year's worth of service you won't be using - because if you read the fine legalese in their terms and conditions, there are no refunds. Period.

i dont like getting subscriptions to anything really.. not when you can find it for free if you look hard enough

I feel as if I am getting my money's worth. I previously had a subscription to Rhapsody and prefer my current Yahoo Music Unlimited subscription. I do not have the "to-go" option. I stream my music through the computer. Overall, I am very satisfied. Some folks who previously had MusicMatch (aquired by Yahoo)have expressed disappointment with Yahoo Music Unlimited. I signed up with the MasterCard promotion and got a 2-year subscription for the price of one. The cost was $71.88.
