Is Yahoo doing anything to correct their mail search function?

Question

The mail search does not work and it is not an issue of rebooting my computer or incorrect spelling. It simply does not work. It did seem to work (with the exception of the date guidelines) but now I almost always get no matches even when I am looking at a folder with 100 that do match the search.

The search function/and download is why I chose to switch to yahoo in the first place.
