Is Yahoo experiencing difficulty from cruise ships

Question

I have a college on Celebrity Constellation and he is trying to send me email's. The ship tells him that the problem is with yahoo. Is this true?

If there's a problem with the ship's internet, it wont be just from one email site, it will be from the ship's internet as a whole.

Depending where the ship is at the time e mails are sent the signal may not be as strong. sometimes when I send e mail from a ship it will be slow in getting to the recipient, no ones fault, just a fact of life and technology.Nothing is infallible. keep trying IF the e mail is important, otherwise let your collegue have his holiday in peace. and there is always the telephone if it's an emergency. "Ship to shore"  is it's name.
