Is a 00 gage big?????

well I really don't know much about what the numbers mean xD

i used to have 1/2...sooo this looks nothing like 00

A normal ear piercing is a 20 or 18 gauge. A 2g is where most people's ears will never close up completely. A 00g is, I think 10mm, and that's two sizes down from half an inch.

So yes, that's relatively large. And that looks like a 2 or 0

00g is 10mm or 3/8"

Depending on the size of the flares and the thickness of the walls that picture could be 00g, but it could also be alot smaller, or a little bigger. I'd imagine 00g would be the largest possible size, but it could be 2g?

And that picture scares me...

Haha not really

It might seem sort of big at the moment but once you starts stretching to bigger sizes it doesn't seem like anything. Like the first person said the bigger the number the smaller the size it does get sort of confusing once you start getting to the half sizes ex 7/16 5/8 the best thing to do is to get a size chart you could get a free one at bodyartforms.com.

Looks like a 2 gage to me. 00 is a little smaller than a quarter.

the BIGGER the NUMBER, the SMALLER the HOLE..

ie : 12 gauge is a MUCH BIGGER hole (piercing) than a 18 gauge..

so yes, 00 is a very big gauge
