  1. Not any more.  You can do better for cheap these days.

  2. no

  3. 1.3 megapixels is plenty of resolution for a webcam. Whether the particular camera you're looking at is better or worse than some other alternative depends on various other factors, but the ability to produce an image with a resolution greater than 1.3 megapixels is not necessary for a webcam.

If you do a  tiny bit of arithmetic, you can determine that 1280 x 1024 = 1,310,720. In other words, a 1.3 megapixel camera will produce an image big enough to fill an SXGA monitor to the very edge.

  4. For a cell phone I guess 1.3 mgp Is ok But for a webcam and and any other camera I don't think so.

  5. I guess it is cuz i have a 1.3 MP webcam build into my laptop and it works fine.

  6. Its not the best but its still decent enough for sure to be seen clear without looking like a smudge lol the more pixels the better but yeah its okay

  7. I don't think I've found video conferencing software that will use that much resolution.

  8. for a webcam, why not

  9. Not at all. I wouldn't pay more than five bucks for one. Go for at LEAST six mp if not more. You can get them cheaply enough.
