  1. Sorry but no.

I remember those coins. Unfortunatelly in 1993 Mexico replaced its currency from MXC to MXN.

The Mexcian New Peso (as it was called till 1996- after that dropping the "new" and making the old pesos nulled) dropped the last three digits of all legal tender thus to cope with the hyperinflation suffered by Mexico previously. So 1,000 Pesos became 1 New Peso. 100,000 Pesos became 100 New Pesos. So your 100 pesos coin what is worth? 10 Cents.

Then the devaluation came and now it is worth the equivalen of 0.00939 USD (less than a penny for such a big coin)...  Keep it as collection it has Venustiano Carranza (I think)

  2. yes it is

    it is about 9.39 american

  3. what you gona spend you £1.42p on sonny, sweets

  4. hapa chic is wrong, since you are talking about a coin that is golden and have a bearded man (Venustiano Carranza) in one side.

No is not legal  is like 1 mexican cent of todays peso. Mexico exchange rate has been pretty stable for the last ten years, but before that devalutaion happen at least every 6 years.

And also Mexico changes continously bills and coins design, so the best thing is not keep mexican money for a long time.
