  1. I thinks that its a good board size and its depends because it seems you're more into freestyle then all mountain and for freestyle you're going to want a smaller boardfor better manuverability, so a 151 should be good for you and an all mountain board will taller than a freestyle board, but I'd go with a 154-157 which should fit well. Keep Riding.

  2. A 151 is a little small for you, unless you only want to hit rails.

For any big jumps, it won't be very stable.

I am a 5' 3" and 115 pds and I ride a 151 about half the time (148 for park).   I ride pretty agressively for a girl (get out of the halfpipe, and jump 40' tabletops all the time).

you are light, so you may get away with it.  but you may want to consider a slightly bigger board.  Especially if you want to get to hitting the bigger jumps.  A 151 for your size won't feel stable going fast or jumping. And on 60+ foot jumps you will start feeling pretty sketchy.

When I want to go big, I use a 151, and I am a lot smaller than you.

I would go bigger if I were you, but it all depends where you want to go with your riding.  If you only want to hit rails, go for it.

Also, if you are at the age where you are still putting on weight, I would definately get a bigger board.  If you got to 160 and 5' 11" it would definately be too small for you.

I ride with some guys who are pretty good, and the smallest board I know of that a guy your height rides is a 158.  He is about 160 pds.

I would say anywhere between a 154 and 156 would be best for you because you are lighter.

  3. Dude the 151 will be straight for you..  My buddy is 5'11 and rocks a shawn white 151 and kills it, If you want to learn freestyle thats the best for you to learn on..  You should build some small park in your backyard for snowboardin, If you have been sk8in for that long im sure you have some rails and stuff, set em up at your crib and pratice, then when you go to the mountain you'll kill it~!   cHECK Out some pics of my backyard jib park on my yahoo 360 page..   More pics to come, been workin on the 40 foot table. Done next week!!!
