  1. yeah im 6'0 and 150 or so and have a 158 and i think its a little big but it is all  personal preference

  2. Essentially a 158 is not to big for a 5'7" 160 lbs person.  you need a board that can support your weight when on edge.  but something you should look at is the weight rating of the boards.  All manufacturers release a recommended weight range for their boards.  I am 5'9" 160 lbs and i ride a 162 at the moment (its at the tip of my nose).  I almost want to go bigger for those powder days too.  the shorter you go with your board the more you are going to skid out in high speed carving.

  3. it should go to your chin but some people get it small for tricks

    i dont think it is

    ahaha to big that is

  4. i think a snowboard should just come up to about your chin...so it sounds about right or maybe just a tiny bit big

  5. your the same height as me and i have the same board length but i weigh 5 more lbs, hsouldmnt make a diff. i would get the 158 board because its good for free riding and freestyle. smaller boards are harder to control due to the friction. you should be able to pull of smooth turns and sharp carves with this board.

  6. Yes, it sounds too big - I'm 5'11" 190lbs and I ride a 158 and it is just right for me.

    Good Luck

  7. Your snowboard length should be about 154. Check out this snowboard calculator and input your specs, and it'll give you the length of the board that fits you best.

  8. Depends what you want to do with it.  If you're just going to be shredding the gnar it would do but it'd be massive in the park.
