i would say its a good car for either girl or boy. my first car back in 87 was a 1973 super beetle with an autostick trans and 15 inch tires the body was not in great shape but it ran very good and i had a blast driving it.i put in a kickin stereo system and had it for 4 years before i sold it to my brother and i bought something better but i missed my bug so i bought it back and had it for another 6 years after that if i had a favorite car the vw was it.

if by bug you mean a vw beetle then as a 19 year old male i personally wouldn't drive one not because i think it's a "girl car" but because i don't like the beetle "bug" as a car. i have two cars a smart for2 brabus and a pergoet 107 both in my opionion are great little cars so i would reccomend getting one of them if you can. however you can't get girl cars and boy cars in my opionion and if you wan't this car get it. however if you do watch out not because it's a girl car but because it's 25 years old and may break down easily, make sure you give it's engine, geer box etc a good inspection to make sure you don't get riped off.
