I live about 45 miles from work and am looking to cut down on gas cost. I've recently been looking to motorcylces as a second mode of transportation to cut down on my gas costs and enjoy my largely highway commute a little more. Was curious as to what people thought of the 1994 BMW K75... I have the chance to get one for a little under 4,000 with about 20,000 miles on it. Is it a good first bike that can handle my 90 mile round trip? Or should I look at a different kind of bike? Not sure a cruiser is for me... with all the highway driving.

  1. a very good choice

a cruiser is made for highway riding

you dont want to be squished up on a sport for that long.

Thats why they made sport touring bikes

  2. If you try it........you will know it yourself.

  3. I'd go with a suzuki sv650 they are very good starter bikes and get around 55mpg and can go on the highways
