  1. That is awful unless you want to go to a community college

  2. no. very few get to 30. very few. I got a 22 and got into some good colleges.

  3. its not bad, and not good, its average =]

the national average on ACT'S is-----21

so your almost there. but yeah its not bad,

but ithink you might wanna retake it, if you have the time. if not its not bad.

    good luck

  4. It depends on where you're planning on going to college. See if you can get a better score on the SAT (most people do better on 1 test than the other).

When I took the ACT, I got a 20 too. I took the SAT like a month later and got the equivalence of a 22. This past fall, I applied to a college where a lot of my fellow applicants scored a 26-28 and I still got in.

So don't stress about it. Colleges have gotten the message that the SAT/ACT don't reflect how well one does in college, so many colleges aren't weighting standardized tests as much as they used to.

  5. It's average, but there is definitely a LOT of room for improvement.  Try to score at least a 25.

  6. I suggest that you prepare for the ACT and re-take it. That score is actually pretty bad. Colleges will be looking for better scores if you're expecting them to admit you. A lot of universities require above a 21! And if you're looking to go to a good school, I'd aim for 25 or higher!

  7. Depends on where you want to go to College. Check out your dream college for admissions requirements, or go to Princeton Review's free (with registration) College descriptions and find out the range of students' scores who go there.

  8. It is not terrible but I would advise retaking the test. There is really no down side- if you score better, you increase your score. If you don't, you can still take your previous score.

  9. yep get it higher

    take it again
