Is a 20 year old to old for me?

Hi, I'm a 17 year old girl. I'm kinda confused, I don't know that much about relationships or anything because I've only had one boyfriend when I was 15-16 for 8 months. Anyway, theres this 20 year old guy at my job that flirts with me sometimes but I'm confused because isn't he too old to do that with me (I'm not irritated with him I'm just confused)? If not is it ok for us to go out? (this doesn't mean I'll ask him out I'm just curious). He know's that I'm 17 too. Yes I'm in highschool I will be a Senior this September. Thanks!

no i think that is fine age you both have some brains at the ages you said and are both legally allowed to form consent to have s*x so go for it if that is what you wont to

I don't think 20 years old is too old,love doesn't have an age on it.If he's a cool person like you say he is then I think you should go for it.By the way when would you be 18yrs old?

i really don't think he's to old. Age is nothing but a number honey i when i was 16 my bf was 23 and i was having fun till know. so just enjoy it.

I honestly don't think he is too old for you... i am 17 going on 18 in a week and my boyfriend is 23...And we get along great our age difference doesn't matter to us and it doesn't bother anybody...

So if you like him too i suggest you flirt a little with him too...

let me put it this way: if you were 20, and he was 17, do you think he'd be worrying if you were too old for him?  it's 3 years, not that big a deal.  especially if you will be 18 in march.  there is nothing wrong with having him as a friend, and if something else progresses, well there's nothing wrong with that either.  if you were both a few years older than you are now, like if you were 20 and he was 23, it wouldn't be a big deal.  i'm 3 years older than my bf, and we started out as friends.  we also met at work, and we've been together since he was 20 and i was 23.  if you like him, don't worry about the age, it is only a few years.  good luck!
