Is a 2000 ford focus a good first car?

You will love it. I have a 2000 ZX3 with 93000 miles on her. I drine app 20 miles one way to work each day and get 28-30 MPG. Sharp blue. Never let me down.I have owned it since 2002. I will get another when the time comes.

I think its even better than that, my first car was a 93 Grand Prix and when i totalled it lol i bought a focus zx3, my sister drove focus and from the 1st time i drove it i realized tht i am buying it next. Focus is a pretty roomy car, i know u cant tell that just by looking at it but it is ROOMY, the engine is only a 2.0 (in most cases) but it is GOOD, it takes off pretty fast for a little engine, faster than u would imagine. The handling is simply amazing, have u ever noticed that the steering wheel in it is different and smaller? The car is capable of making sharp turns at a really high speed with no problem, that is the REASON why most of the car enthusiasts who buy it turn it into a road course car!!!

I own a focus, i have a lot of xtra in it, over 10K in parts under the hood, i LOVE this car, stock or customized, it is a great car

not bad, but i were you i go for Honda, Toyota or Nissan car.

Ford is nothing compare to big 3 (except F150 of Ford)
