Is a 2008 ninja 250R good for a 16 yr old begginer?

im 15 and a half i got my motorcycle permit and i was wondering if a 2008 ninja 250R is a good begginers bike for me. and can anyone tell me around how much it would cost? and how about how much i would have to pay for insurance?

the MSRP is $3,499 and im thinking the insurance is gonna be relatively high. Cause your younger and riding a bike. but im not very sure about the insurance.

Yes it would make a good first bike I have come back to bikes and had a 1990 model last Oct evan at that age it would reach a 100 no problem and steady too coming from UK don't know about prices in US but there is a good Ninja web site based in the US just type in ninja250r brilliant site and free too what more could you ask for enjoy yourself and be careful burn rubber not your bum

Yes it will, be sure your feet fit flat on the ground at rest. Use your head and be careful. Wear a helmet. Insurance .... full coverage....lots. Liability only 300 - 400 a year.

Well first id say take your local msf course. u wont regret it. second.. i think that would be a good bike for u. small and not too powerful. brand new it should be around 4000. Insurance will be a ***** though.
