I am going into my senior year in HS (I'm top 4% in my class with a GPA of 3.8) and I also took the SAT, but I got a 1540 on that one LOL. I'm guessing I'm going with the ACT score, but I might just give it another try if the 23 isn't good enough.... So should I give it another shot?

  1. I got a 28 my first try, I took it again and got a 30. Also, statstically you are likely to score higher on your second test. Thus, I would recommend taking it again if you are interested in raising your score.

  2. Yes, 23 is average. I believe the average score across America is a 21.

If you are not satisfied with this score, just try it again! I'm sure you will do better.  Most people go up when they take it again. Good luck to you with college and in your senior year!

  3. not bad but i would shoot for a 25-29 to be really pimpin

  4. It's a little above average. Since you have a good GPA, I suggest you should take it again because you'll likely score higher since you're accustomed to the exam. You should really try to hit 27-29. So, I think you should give it another shot. Maybe get a prep. book or take some pracitce exams to help you out. Good luck.
