  1. yeah that is a perfect size i bet they would love that!!!

  2. Yes, its the most perfect cage you can get! It has tons of room and creates lots of creativity. Even a 10 gal. is plenty! Good job and I LOVE your picture of the little hammy! hope this helps!

  3. Depends on how many hamseters or gerbils you have, one to five could live in there perfectly fine!

  4. i wouldn't recommend a fish tank for a hamster, there are no tubes, not a wheel, nothing for the hamster to do. i would go with a hamster cage, with tubes, a wheel, a ledge, maybe even a balcony, they are pretty cheap, why don't you put fish in a FISH tank, but if you put a wheel in the tank, and maybe some paper towel rolls for them to chew on then you will be fine, and that hhamster will be spoiled with such a large cage.

    good luck

  5. I used a 10 tank before and my hamsters did not like it. They tend to eat the glue out of the corners. However a 25 gallon tank is alot bigger. It might work if given enough toys and things to occupy it.

  6. yeah... thats perfectley fine! they love to have a lot of space!

  7. oh yeah thats a good size the bigger the better.

  8. Yes. A 25 gallon tank is big enough to fit 2-3 gerbils, 2-3 dwarf hamsters, or one syrian hamster comfortably. Please keep in mind that gerbils are social, so they should be kept in same s*x pairs. Females are more territorial, so it's best to keep them in pairs. Trios tend to leave one for the others two to pick on. Male gerbils do better in trios and more. Dwarf hamsters are more social and can be kept in same s*x pairs or more. However, keep in mind that there's still a chance they may fight. It's probably best to get a pair of dwarf hamsters for the same reason for getting a pair of female hamsters; one may be singled out and picked on. Syrian hamsters are solitary animals, so only one per cage.

Tanks are great. I've never had a problem with air circulation problems in my gerbil's tank. As long as you have a ventilated lid and clean the tank out regularly, it's not a big problem.

  9. NO TANK! there is not enough ventilation and it could lead to respitory problems!

  10. Yes I have mine in a 10 gallon with a hamster top on it... It is awesome but 25 is good too!!

  11. Fish tanks work good for hamsters and they'll like one so big. Just to let you know though, once a tank has been used for hamsters it cannot be used for fish again because of the urine that gets into the silicone.
