Is a 26' vizio hdtv worth getting?

My personal opinion is Vizio is not worth the investment.  If you want to be able to repair it in the future, stick with name brands like Sony, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Samsung, LG, etc.

Here is a list of the top ten best LCD brands (in decending order):

Sony, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, LG, Mitsubishi, Philips, JVC, Panasonic and Hitachi

Samsung and Sony are the best by far!

I wouldn't recommend getting an: Insignia, Olevia, Westinghouse or Vizio

For a solid 26' inch set, You'd best stick to Samsung,Sony, Sharp, or even Toshiba

For LCD television sets, remember the three S's....Sony, Samsung and Sharp.   No Vizio, Olevia, etc.
