On my PLAN, it was predicted that i would get a score of 23-27 on the ACT. I was wondering if these were good scores. On my PSAT, i got an index score of 149. Is that good?

  1. 27 is an average score that'll get you in a state university easily. but top tier universities prefer 33's and up

  2. 27 is a very good score... I got a 29 when my PLAN score range was 24-28, so you can easily move up if you prep... A private college likes 30's and above, typically, assuming you are in the top 10%, but 27 would be good enough to get into a top tier state unviersity such as Univeristy of Illinois...

  3. i got a 27 on my ACT as well, and my friends who took it with me got 20 and 24. 27 is a fairly good score, if you have a good GPA it will probably get you into a good university, but the most competitive colleges usually only take students who have scores of 30 and over.
