  1. Ivy leagues are like lotteries. 1/100 chance mate.

  2. It depends.  At my school we had 11 valedictorians (all with a 4.0) and the salutatorian was the only one to get accepted to Harvard.  He didn't do any sports, but i think he did NHS.  Its not just your high-school resume, but the impression you make on the Harvard representative you'll be meeting if you're serious about applying.  Good luck

  3. Your GPA is no guarantee you'll get into an Ivy League school.

  4. Hate to break it to you but the GPA is not all that guarantees getting into an Ivy. Everyone who applies to these schools have amazing credentials (high GPA's, high SATs etc) so there's more that goes into selecting the best of the best. You have a great GPA though so def. apply but you'll end up at a great school no matter...there are other great schools out there besides the Ivy's I promise.

  5. No...you won't be getting into either Harvard or Yale

Harvard waitlisted me, and Yale accepted me...Princeton rejected me though

I had a 3.96 unweighted, had 3 sports, took 11 AP classes, was Founding President of 3 clubs before Senior year, Captain of the Academic Decathlon team, had over 700 hours of community service, was Secretary of 2 clubs, and was in the Model United Nations as well as a member of the Newspaper...
