  1. ml is a measurement of volume and mg is a measurement of weight you can't convert from one to the other.  It's possible to have 30 mg of some medicine in a  30 ml bottle but you can't say that's tru 100% of the time.

  2. one's weight, the other's volume.

    for water it's the same.

    for most liquids, it's pretty close, but not exactly the same.

    the closer to water, the closer the match.

    eg, for gasoline, and most organic liquids, you'd get more with the 30 mg bottle.

    obviously for mercury, you'd get far more in the 30 ml bottle.

  3. generally ... the drug will by weight by volume ... for example ... the drug albuterol is given in a unit dose vial ... it is 2.5 mg per 3ml ....

  4. no, mL and mG don't have same measurements.

    mL=cm^3 (volume)

  5. 30ml is 30 Milli-liters  and is a measure of volume

    30mg is 30 Milli-grams which is a measure of weight
