Well, if you take into consideration the fact that it's out of 800... that's not such a great score. But don't worry- you can always retake the SATs

It's below the average math score (about 500), but you can improve if you study. I recommend Princeton Review and Tutorfox new SAT guide, http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html

With both books I improved my score from 1660 to 2120 in only 2 months of summer. Good luck, and let me know if you need any more help.

not a lot of colleges like scores under 500...since 500 is the avg. and i've heard that you get at least 100pts for putting your name down. sooo, study really hard and try to raise your score!

yes 518, is average as stated in an earlier answer. I would also recommend tutorfox.com, an underground site that helps a lot with the SAT math section.
