Is a 4.5 GPA my junior year good enough for Duke?

dont worry bout SATs is the GPa good enough? they said junior yr matters most ?

  1. How the heck did you get a 4.5? The highest multipliers at my school are 1.1, so the highest possible GPA is 4.4. Not to mention, it is hard to get six or seven of those classes to get the possible 4.4 (the highest anyone ever gets is like a 4.3).


  2. a 4.0 is even enough if you have a 2400 SAT score

  3. I've never heard of a 4.5. I thought 4.0 was the topper, unless you are using a different grading scale.

That depends on what your unweighted GPA is.  This could be all A's, or it could be something less with a lot of APs and Honors classes, which would be less acceptable.  Junior year matters most, but don't expect it to be everything.  If you didn't do very well in freshman and sophomore year too, no GPA would be good enough in junior year.

  5. It depends what your unweighted gpa is.  Weighted doesn't mean much.
