  1. depend on your preference. most hot tubs at public places are kept at about 102-104. most people find that temperature comfortable.

    37C is body temperature (98.6F).

    The conversion formula is: F=C(9/5)+32 so 40C = 104F, just warm, in my view.

    Hot Springs, Arkansas provides 140F bath waters, quite hot and nice.

    In a sauna, 190F is beautiful.
