  1. you should be fine, i would be more concerned with going 45 mph to keep up with traffic..

my 50cc tops out at about 40 mph.   it does slow down a bit going up really big hills but has never been a problem.

but a 50cc will be nice, you wont have to mess around with getting your cyclists' liscense.

  2. Not unless you're okay with going up the hill at 15mph. Try a 125 or a 250.

  3. no

  4. Probably not. You might want to move up to the 125-150cc class. Are there any friends with 50cc scooters who would let you try theirs? Then you can judge for yourself.

  5. It depends on what 50cc scooter you get.  The Kymco Super 9 (50cc) is capable of 70+MPH with just a few mods.  Yes you read that right.  Most only average around 40 tops though.

  6. depends on what type of riding you are doing, if its just around town with no major hills, then you should be fine.

Personally I would buy something larger, at least 250cc. This way it would 1st off have more power and be able to quickly get me out of traffic situation.

BUT only buy something you will feel comfortable riding.
