  1. depends if on your size of feet

if your around a size 8 shoe try getting a 7.8

    if your around a shoe size 6 -7 a 7.5 is good

your feet should almost be the same size as the width of the board

  2. Yeah man that's a great size! But if you are just focusing on flip tricks get a 7.5, they are skinny for maximum flippage. 8.0 on up boards are for vert and are wide for stability. But 7.75's have great flippage and arepretty stable. I use 7.75's. For more info on decks/trucks/wheel/grip tape or anything go to:  http://skateboard.about.com/od/boardmain...   Good luck man!

  3. basically the 7.75 part is the width, it goes by inches. And the 31.5 part is the length from nose to tail. Getting the right size changes for every person, but generally the bigger your shoe the  wider you want your board to be. Length doesn't really matter as long as it's around 30-32 inches. if you have a small shoe you might want to get a 7.5, medium size shoe should e around 7.75 and a bigger shoe should be an 8.

i ride a 8in. board and i have a size 12 shoe. remember you can always ask the people that work at a skate shop or you could just experiment with different sizes...good luck
