Is a ATI RADEON HD 2600 PRO good for graphical games such as WoW, EQ2, Counter Strike: Source, etc? ?

what about ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT

how do they compare with a nvidia 6600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 128MB

They compare favorably with those two older Nvidia cards.  Newer games would be a struggle on any of those cards.

get a newer card than that if you can (not constrained by motherboard i.e. you have a pci-e x16 slot(s) or better a pci-e 2.0 x16 slot(s). look at the newer cards if you can. if you are constrained by your motherboard you can still find relatively recent agp cards, at least a few.

It's not that great, i'm not sure it would play Source smoothly. If i were you, look at the 8800GS, Radeon 4650 or an old, cheap, 79xx series card.

the 2600 pro is probably the most powerful of the cards you are looking at. Its probably better to consider a 2600xt or higher for those games though. 2600 pro is not that great as a gaming card.
