Is a B bad on your HS transcript for algebra?

Question

I'm taking it in 7th grade right now, but it's for high school credit. I have finals coming up, and I'm afraid that if I get a B that it will drastically change my high school GPA and will prevent me from getting into a good college. HELP!

PS- I'm a straight-A student with an occasional A-.

think of what's your major is... is it math oriented? medicine, engineering, education, arcitecture, ect. if your in the 7th grade, remember that you have a long time to go before you can worry. If your thoughts are on a certain college, then strive for their standards... if not then keep strong. Im majoring in mass media communications and minoring in markiting, and i am officially done with math... fyi, my bad grades in math through grade/high school didnt change a thing... but, a B in algebra is good for being in 7th grade, be proud of yourself rather then worry.

Oce you get into college with the scholarships/grants that you wanted to get, everything you did in highschool does NOT MATTER. I was so uptight in highschool didnt help anyone out and never gave anyone an answer when in reality highschool grades dont even matter once you get that acceptance letter. Now if your lookin to a prestigous college like princeton or yale or somethin like that, still as long as you have above a 3.5 and a good act or sat score and alot of extra curricular activities you'll be fine. But i'm in college right now and i can tell you, i wish i was more laid back in highschool cus i graduated in the top ten in my class but i was such a nerd and forgot to have a little fun. There was a guy that finished in the bottom half of my class but was very popular very laid back had lots of fun throughout highschool and guess what? Me and him are in the same college with the same scholarships and all. Difference is he wasn't so uptight worryin about grades every d**n minute of his life like i did cus i thought it was important, when in reality the only grades that are important in life is your college grades cus thats what counts!! What ever you want to be in life your employer could give a sht what you did highschool or where you went. All they look at is college. So remember to have as much fun in highschool as possible cus in college thats when you need to buckle down. Thats when grades matter. Highschool is all fundamentals.

if you're not even in high school right now, don't worry about it, you have time to study and get better at it, and take it again in high school and get a better grade, and no a b isnt that bad unless you want into harvard or some other like ivy league school
