Is a Blazer Extreme a good family car thankx? And what color should I get and year?

I might get one for the whole family and used? Thankx I hope that works out for my husband Kyle and Haliey Marie.

Not really.  The mileage is not very good and the reliability is very bad.  Toyota Forerunner is good and not very expensive to repair.  A car based vehicle would be a lot better on mileage.  Like the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CRV.

I am sorry but I must also add that the Extreme package is very ugly.  He only wants it because his friends do.

It is a totally unreliable vehicle--especially used.

Consumer Reports lists the Blazer as a worst of the worst.......

That means they are warning you-----'don't buy it , even at a bargain price'.
